Seattle Modern Orchestra opens its season with an exploration of musical pluralism in Open Form. This concert features music that allows the performers to change the form at each reading, which means that no two performances are ever the same! Works by Earle Brown, Sylvano Bussotti, a rare performance of Karlheinz Stockhausen's Zyklus by percussionist Bonnie Whiting Smith, and a world premiere by Seattle composer Tom Baker commissioned by SMO.
